Your weekend stay begins upon your arrival at the Cleone Gardens Inn, located just down the road from Ricochet Ridge Ranch, a short drive up the coast from Fort Bragg (2 miles) and Mendocino (10 miles). The Cleone Gardens Inn central meadow is a focal point, accented with a redwood grove, fir trees, numerous seasonal flowers and shrubs. It provides a visual expanse where one may stroll or relax, enjoying the warm sun or evening stars and moonlight. Their large outdoor decks provide space for group get togethers. The Inn consists of 10 comfortable units all with private bath. Each accommodation is different; some features may include fireplace, kitchen with dining area, 1 bedroom suite with separate bedroom, double/queen/or king size bed, television, AM/FM stereo radio, accent antique furniture pieces, garden entries, and/or private decks. All rooms are dedicated for non-smokers. Close by the Inn, one has access to miles of sandy ocean beaches, sand dunes, the facilities of MacKerricher State Park, Lake Cleone, Inglenook Fen, and many wonderful restaurants in the towns of Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Guests also may use the outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub.

Start your second day with a full hearty breakfast at Cleone Gardens Inn. Following breakfast, walk or drive over to Ricochet Ridge Ranch, where you will meet your trailguide and your horse for an exciting All DayTrail Ride. We have horses that are both fit and sensible, safe for all levels of rider, English or Western style. A pack lunch will be prepared for you, including a hearty sandwich, granola bars, trail mix, pickles, peppers, candy, fruit, juice and water. Today you will ride through a horse ranch, a vast cattle ranch, past virgin redwood trees thousands of years old, to the tops of mountains overlooking the Pacific Ocean. After your ride, return to Cleone Gardens Inn for a soak in the hot tub, before enjoying a delicious dinner at the Wharf Restaurant at Noyo Harbor.

Your third day begins again with another full hearty breakfast at Cleone Gardens Inn. Head back to Ricochet Ridge Ranch for a four hour ride. Today, you will ride on Ten Mile Beach, where osprey and pelican circle overhead and seals and whales cavort offshore. Take a break along the Ten Mile River, where you can relax for a moment in the Ten Mile Dunes preserve and estuary, before remounting and heading home. You won't believe the quality of the horses! After your ride, you will have the rest of that day and the entire next day free to explore to the North Coast! This third night, you will choose your own dining place following suggestions from our staff according to your preferences. This final night dinner is not included in your package.
