Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled ride time. This will allow time for your group to fill out waiver forms and watch the safety video.
Many of our guests want the opportunity to trot or canter on their rides. If that’s important to you, you should choose a 3 or 4 hour private ride. Our 1 Hour Beach Rides do not include trotting and cantering.
All riders must sign our Release of Liability Agreement before saddling up. Riders under age 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the Release.

We offer daily group and private trail rides on Ten Mile Beach, beginning at 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm. Rides are by appointment and depart from our ranch across from Mackerricher State Park in Cleone, California, two miles north of Fort Bragg.

Ricochet Ridge Ranch offers 3 Hour Private Beach Rides year-round pending beach conditions and rider experience. You and your party will ride English or Western-trained horses on MacKerricher State Park’s Ten Mile Beach.

PLEASE RESERVE CAREFULLY. Ride reservations are non-refundable unless the ride is cancelled by Ricochet staff. If you are unable to keep your reservation, it can be rescheduled and will be held indefinitely, or you may transfer it to someone else for their use.
