If you have a reservation to ride with us between March 18 and May 1, your reservation cannot be honored because of the “shelter in place” order issued by Mendocino County on March 18. If you would like to review that order, please go to mendocinocounty.org. We are monitoring developments related to this order closely and will post updates on our website, Facebook page, and Instagram as soon as we have them. You have the following options related to your reservation with us:
- If you have a reservation for a date between March 18 and May 1, and have not paid for your ride yet because you reserved by phone, you don’t need to do anything. We will cancel your reservation.
- If you paid for your ride in advance or paid a deposit for a ride between March 18 and May 1, you can either
- Apply your ride payment or deposit to a future ride. In this case, you don’t need to do anything. We will automatically record a credit in your name that you can use at a later date. When normal operations resume, you can simply call or email to make a reservation and your credit will be applied.
- Request a gift certificate. If you prefer to receive a gift certificate for the amount of your payment or deposit, please email or write us providing your name, the date and time of your ride, and the address to which you would like the reservation sent. We will confirm your payment and issue a gift certificate within 2 weeks.
These options only apply to reservations for rides between March 18 and May 1. They may be extended if circumstances require. If you have a reservation for a ride after May 1, we request that you wait to contact us about a cancellation or rescheduling.
Note that we are changing our policy regarding refunds. Previously, we issued refunds to guests who cancelled a paid reservation at least 48 hours in advance. Because of the extraordinary burden on our business created by the Covid-19 health crisis and mandatory shut-down, and until further notice, we cannot do that for reservations made after March 19, 2020. In all cases, however, we will work with guests to reschedule their rides, keep a credit on file, or issue a gift certificate.
